SJ 22 SE OSWESTRY RURAL C.P. CRICKHEATH

Farmhouse. Late C17 with later additions and alterations. Red brick
(now mainly roughcast), graded slate roof with crow-step gables. Cruciform
plan with early to mid-C19 additions to rear and set back to right.
2 storeys and attics, toothed eaves cornice with similar floor bands to
rear gable; 1:1:1 bays with central projecting gable, glazing bar sashes
with stone wedge lintels and cills, C20 French window to lower right;
C20 half-glazed door in C19 wooden doorcase with flat hood to centre gable;
prominent central ridge stack with toothed band to top of base and 5
diagonal shafts with moulded capping. Interior: not inspected but likely
to be of interest.
