Terrace of 6 houses. Early C19 with later additions and alterations.
Red brick, slate roof and ridge stacks. 3 storeys, continuous moulded
wooden eaves cornice; 6-window front, late C20 casements (except for
three 16-paned glazing bar sashes and one horizontal sliding sash) in
original cambered openings; paired pedimented doorcases to Nos. 6 and
8 and Nos. 12 and 14 with panelled reveals and 6-panel doors, similar
doorcase to No. 4 has 4-panel door. No. 10 has C20 shop front and half-
glazed door. Passageway to right of No. 4 displays light timber framed
panels. The terrace occupies a prominent position at the junction of
Upper Brook Street and Upper Church Street. Included for group value.
