Cottage. Late C17 with later additions and alterations. Roughly coursed limestone rubble; plain tile roof. 2-room plan. 2 storeys and gable-lit attic. Two 2-light chamfered mullion windows directly below eaves and one to lower left, C20 casement with concrete lintel in position of infilled doorway to right of centre and similar casement with wood lintel to right. Integral ashlar end stack to left with moulded dripstone and capping and integral end stack to right rebuilt late C20. C19 lean-to to left gable end.

Interior. Left ground-floor room has inglenook fireplace with chamfered wood lintel and bread oven to right with C19 cast-iron door bearing maker's emblem (Vale and Co.). C20 lean-to attached to right gable end is not of special architectural interest.
