House. Late C17 with C20 alterations and addition. Limestone ashlar. Steeply
pitched C20-tile roof. 3 stone ridge and end stacks with brick shafts. 3-unit
with rear wing forming L-plan. 2 storeys plus attic. 6-window range. Central
entrance has panelled door in wood doorcase with flat hood. Entrance is flanked
by 3 sash windows with glazing bars on left and 2 similar windows to right.
First floor has sash windows with glazing bars. Stone lintels. 6 roof dormers
with hipped roofs. Rear. Gabled 2-storey staircase projection. Interior noted as
containing a bolection moulded fireplace in ground floor now painted brown, late
C18 painted deal panelling, C20 staircase with turned balusters, windows with
shutters and window seats. Built by the Westcar family. (VCH). Interior not
inspected.
