Middle Farmhouse, barn and abutting stable range approx. 50m N

Barn. Late C18 with C20 repairs. Coursed limestone rubble. Steeply pitched
corrugated-iron roof. 10 bays. 2 threshing floor entrances have partly renewed
doors. Entrance on right has plank door and wood lintel. Interior: butt-purlin
roofs with principal rafters, ties and collar beams. Triangular ventilation
holes in gables. Dividing wall built up to rafters between 2 parts of the barn,
each of 5 bays. Stable range. Late C18. Squared coursed limestone. Slate roof.
Long rectangular range. 2 storeys. Stable entrances have stable doors with hood
frames and arched stone heads. Entrances are flanked by 2-light wood framed
windows with arched stone heads. Similar windows and loft door above.
