House, now 2 dwellings. 1690 (date with initials I E on lintel), altered C18
and restored late C19. Rubble with long roughly-shaped quoins and cut dressings;
Lakeland slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central flush-panelled door in moulded
surround with flat-pointed head,with small 2-light chamfered mullioned window
over. Left bay has similar 3-light windows heightened in C19. Similar windows
in right bay are C19 copies; remains of C18 windows visible on either side.
All openings have hoodmoulds. Coped gables with moulded kneelers; stepped-
and-corniced end stacks.

C20 extension to rear not of interest.
