9/14 Yew Tree Cottage

House. C17 with later addition and alterations. Coursed limestone
rubble; clay tile roof; hammer-dressed ashlar stacks to right hand
gable end and to left of centre. 2 room plan; both rooms heated;
staircase placed behind chimney and directly opposite entrance. 2
storeys; 2 windows; mullioned, those on ground floor have 2 lights,
those on first floor 3 lights, chamfered dripstones to left hand windows;
all mullions chamfered except those to right on ground floor which are
plain. Gabled porch dated 1861 to original doorway with cambered and
shouldered head.
