Farmhouse. Early to mid C19. Coursed and squared limestone rubble
with rusticated ashlar quoins and dressings; clay tile roof with coped
verges; ashlar integral end stacks and central stack. 2 storeys; 2
windows; glazing bar sashes, lintels lined as voussoirs, those to ground
floor have fluted keystones and straight dripstones; recessed single
storey porch to left with cambered arch to 6-panelled door and gabled
west wall containing a top opening glazing bar window; extension to
right slightly lower than main house and a further, gabled extension with
integral end stack projecting from the point of juncture of the two
elements. Beresford Cottage (q.v.) is attached to the rear.
