House, now cafe and flats. Late C18, altered. Painted stucco
with painted stone dressings and slate roof.
3 storeys, with 2 bays to King Street. On the ground floor is
a glazed shop front with timber fascia, which returns to
include one bay of the left-hand gable wall which faces Upper
Brook Street. At the left of the facade are raised rendered
quoins. The 1st-floor windows are C20 casements in architraves
which have narrower detached pediments above them. The
2nd-floor windows are sashed without glazing bars and have
architraves. At the left there is a gable chimney. The
left-hand gable wall has 3 bays which have window surrounds on
the 1st and 2nd floors matching those at the front. The
right-hand windows are blind. Between them is a stair window
which has a round head and is sashed with glazing bars. At the
left on the ground floor is a wide C20 window with a timber
lintel. To its right is a painted stone Tuscan doorcase with
engaged columns, an open pediment, and a Gothick fanlight.
