Small house, now fish and chip shop. Dated 1637, altered C19
and C20. Coursed squared gritstone, slate roof. 2 storeys, 2
bays. Chamfered plinth. Moulded jambs and massive lintel to
original shallow Tudor-arched entrance right of centre, the
lintel has a carved panel with raised lettering: 'IB:AB/
1637:'. Former mullioned window with syma-moulded reveals
right, mullion removed and now with 6-pane frame; longer
window left, also with syma-moulded reveals and originally of
5 lights but mullions removed and a shop doorway with
small-pane window inserted. These ground floor openings all
under a stepped syma hoodmould. First floor: small window left
with side-sliding sash, central casement to longer 3-frame
window right. End stacks forward of ridge, the right stack
projects from the gable wall and is stepped.
