Shop and chambers. Early C20 (dated 1901), late C20 alterations.
Terracotta, slated and glazed roof. Four storeys, corner site
with five first-floor windows to Commercial Street and one window
to Trinity Street (right return). Ground floor: late C20 shop
front; first floor: three curved plate-glass bay windows, upper part
of frame with scrolled carving surviving, embossed lead roofs
over, the outer windows flat with terracotta panels over and
the words 'RECORD/ CHAMBERS' in relief. Second floor: paired and
single-light windows in moulded surrounds, decorative shields
between. Balustraded parapet with scrolled finials, curved
glass roof with slates and roof lights above. Right return: as
front with curved bay and original frame to 1st-floor window.
