Cemetery lodges and attached walls, gate piers and gates. Mid
C19. Coursed squared gritstone, slate roofs (diminishing
courses), wrought-iron gates. Tudor style. Single-storey
lodges with gabled wings, transom and mullion windows, canted
bay window, plain door surrounds, moulded gable copings, tall
ridge stacks with cylindrical flues.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached boundary walling with small
out-buildings, gabled, with chamfered Gothic-arched doorways;
inner and outer gate piers: tall, square plinths, shafts,
gabled capstones. Gates have bars, dog-bars with fleur-de-lis
finials, curved flanking walls link to lodge corners.
