GV II

Gates, gate piers and flanking walls. Probably c1828-9. By RD Chantrell. Coursed squared gritstone walls, monolithic gate piers, iron gates. Overall length approx 10m, walls 1.5m high with moulded coping. Piers 3m high with moulded bases, separate capstone gabled on each side. Double gates have bars and dog bars with floriate finials, lock-rail with trefoil piercings. Included for group value.
