GV II

Machine shop and attached office. Early C19. Red brick,
English bond, with ashlar dressings and slate roof. 2 storeys.
Street front: 2 gabled bays with a pair of double plank doors
with segmental brick head and ashlar hinge blocks; above a
similar loft entrance, now blocked, with a large projecting
ashlar sill supported on ashlar brackets. To the right a plank
door with overlight and beyond a plain sash with similar sash
above. Left return (south-east front): another pair of plank
double doors with segmental brick head and ashlar hinge
blocks, with a similar loft entrance above with a large
projecting ashlar sill supported on ashlar brackets. To the
right a flight of external stone steps lead to a plank door
above.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Single-bay river front has another large entrance with loft
entrance above, both now blocked.
