3 large piers and linking wall at former entrance to Beckett
Park, now the boundary wall to No.151 (qv). Mid C19. Ashlar.
Overall length approx 20m, height of piers approx 2.5m. At the
S end a square pier, rusticated ashlar, cornice and capstone,
finial missing; 2 octagonal piers at N end and centre,
tapered, stepped moulding, deep cornice, ball finials. Linking
low walls: 1 course, moulded copings, railings missing.
The S pier is similar to the gate piers to Beckett Park, at
the W end of St Chad's Drive, Beckett Park (qv).
