GV II

House, with area railings. c1790, probably rebuilt C20. Red
brick, ashlar plinth, slate roof. 3 storeys, 5 bays. Central
wooden doorcase with fanlight and cornice with pediment.
Sashes with glazing bars, sills, continuous 1st-floor sill
band, stone wedge lintels, moulded eaves cornice. End stacks
forward of ridge.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Railings with tall bud finials.
The site of one of the houses built on the Wilson estate for
merchants, attorneys, etc leaving the congested medieval town
centre. Included for group value.
