3 town houses, now 4 shops and accommodation. 1777, with C19
and C20 alterations. Brown brick, Flemish bond to front; grey
slate and clay tile roofs.
EXTERIOR: the right house, now Nos 128 and 130, has two C20
shopfronts, 3 recessed 2-pane sashes to first floor and 2
similar but shorter sashes to second floor. The central bay
has C20 restaurant front and upper windows similar to those of
Nos 128 and 130 but with 6 panes to upper leaves of first
floor and 3 panes in each leaf to second floor. No.132 has
vehicle entry under lintel and a narrow modern shop front; the
first floor has 2 recessed 12-pane sashes, the second floor
6-pane sashes. All upper storey windows have painted stone
sills and wedge lintels. Rainwater pipe between Nos 130 and
132 has upper bracket dated 1777 and cast lead head; an
unbroken vertical joint between central and left house;
modillion cornice. The right and central houses have ridges at
right-angle to street, the left house a tiled roof, ridge
parallel with front.
The central house has an 18-pane stair window to side.
INTERIORS not inspected, but some Georgian detailing in upper
rooms is visible from street.
