GV II

Barn, now house. Later C17, converted to house in 1980s. Timber
framed, weatherboarded, on brick plinth. Plain tile roof. 5 timber-
framed bays, built at an angle to road. 2 storeys. Roof half-hipped
to left (south-west) gable end, hipped to right. Irregular
fenestration of 5 casements; four two-light and one single-light.
Slight recess with vertical boarding to second timber-framed bay
from left, said to be former position of barn doors. Stable door to
left gable end. Interior: exposed framing, straight tension braces.
Wall-plates and gable-end tie-beams in same plane. Queen-strut roof.
