Formerly known as: Nos.94 AND 96 BOTANIC ROAD Churchtown.
2 houses, now one dwelling (former No.94 to right now
integrated with No.96). Probably C17; altered in C19.
Whitewashed brick and some cobblestone, thatched and slate
roofs on 2 levels. 2 portions.
EXTERIOR AND PLAN: the former No.94 has a single-depth 2-unit
plan; one storey; 2-window range. Asymmetrical, with a board
door flanked by low 3-light sliding sash windows, that to the
left smaller and furnished with shutter-lugs; and has a
thatched roof with overhanging eaves and verges, and gable
chimneys.
The former No.96 to the left is one unit. 2 storeys;
single-window range. Front wall of whitewashed cobblestones
and the roof of slate. Small-paned 2-light sliding sash at
ground floor and a 2-light casement above.
Rear: the single-storey portion has two 3-light sliding sash
windows and one 4-light casement; flat-roofed porch at the
east end.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Forms group with No.98 adjoining to the left (qv), and with
Nos 100 & 102 (qv) further to the left.
