House, now 2 dwellings. Dated 1749 at first floor; enlarged to
rear in late C19 and altered in late C20. White painted
roughcast render, graduated slate roof. Double-depth
double-fronted plan, plus various additions to rear.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 2-window range. Almost symmetrical;
square-headed doorway off-set right of centre and now
furnished with C20 door; at first floor above the door, a
small arched inset datestone inscribed: B / R J / 1749 (the
initials now covered by white paint and the date picked out in
black paint). 2 windows on each floor, all formerly 3-light
sliding sashes, but all replaced with uPVC double-glazing and
those at ground floor in the form of shallow bows. Extruded
chimneys at both gables, that to the right much larger.
