Terraced houses. Early C19. Stucco. Roof obscured by blocking
course. 3 storeys over basement. 3 windows each. Each
elevation treated as a full-height and full-width segmental
bay. Banded rustication to the ground floor and cornice above.
Both entrances are flat arched and have much altered
overlights. First-floor balcony with cast-iron railings and
brackets to each . All windows flat arched with many sashes of
original design: 6 x 6 to ground floor of No.42 only; 6 x 9 to
first floors and 6 x 6 to second. Centre window in each second
floor is blocked; all ground- and second-floor windows have
projecting sills. Stacks to party walls.
INTERIOR: not inspected. Railings to stairs of No.43 only.
