Formerly known as: Holy Trinity Vicarage.
Includes: Nos.23 AND 25 and attached railings BEAUCHAMP HILL.
House, now 3 dwellings, with attached railings. c1828-1830
with later alterations. Pinkish-brown brick to rear with
painted stucco to front and side facades, Welsh slate roof and
cast- and wrought-iron verandah, balcony and railings. Late
Classical style.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic and basement, 3 first-floor
windows, with recessed entrance bay to right.
First floor has 6/6 sashes in tooled, eared architraves, sills
with feet.
Ground floor has 8-pane French windows with divided overlights
all with margin-lights. Projecting eaves.
Entrance: steps to screen with fluted Doric columns which
connects with No.12 (qv). Panelled door to No.11 within.
Continuous verandah to ground floor has scrolled uprights and
ornate frieze with glass roof.
Left return: 2 storeys with attic to gable and basement, 3
first-floor windows with further 3-storey, single bay-range.
First floor has three 6/6 sashes, that to centre is lower and
has margin-lights.
Central entrance has flight of roll-edged steps to double
doors, within distyle Doric porch, part-infilled, with frieze
and cornice.
To left, a tripartite window, 6/6 between 2/2 sashes; to
right, an 8-pane French window with divided overlight.
Attic has 3/3 sash in broken-pedimented gable end. All windows
have tooled, eared architraves, those to outer bays have blind
boxes, all except French window have moulded sills, those to
first floor and attic with feet.
Basement has 1/1 sashes.
To French window a balcony with scrolled uprights.
Further recessed, lower range has to first floor a tripartite
window with 2/2 between 1/1 sashes, in plain reveals and with
sill.
Second floor: continuous band, 2/2 sash with blind box and in
plain reveals.
Ground floor: entrance to right a wooden doorcase and 6-panel
door, 2/2 sash. Further 2/2 and 6/6 sashes to rear. Tall ridge
and rear stacks with cornices.

INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: to either side of steps are lancet
railings.
HISTORICAL NOTE: formerly the Holy Trinity Vicarage. A
complete square of stucco terraces, Clarendon Square (qv) was
laid out c1828 to the plans of PF Robinson, architect, of
Brook Street, Mayfair. The houses round were completed c1832,
and the gardens in the Square were planted with trees in May
1830. Nos 11-21 (consec) form an architectural set piece of
fine buildings.
