House, now house and shop, Nos 1 and 1A. c1818-1830 with later
additions and alterations including late C19 and mid-C20
ground-floor shop fronts. Pinkish-brown brick with painted
stucco front facade and Welsh slate roof.
3 storeys with basement, 3 first-floor windows. First floor:
central blind opening between 6/6 sashes; second floor: 6/6
sashes, all in plain reveals and with sills. Ground floor: 2
off-centre part-glazed doors with overlights; C20 plate-glass
shop-front to left; 2/2 sash to right; continuous frieze and
cornice remains from earlier shop-front. Basement has pair of
fixed-light windows. Parapet at gables and between houses, all
on corbels. Left gable has 6/6 sash.
