Hotel, now public house. c1855 with later alterations.
Pinkish-brown brick in Flemish bond with Welsh slate roof and
cast-iron lamp bracket.
3 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. Central entrance, 3 steps to
plate glass door within tooled architrave and consoles
supporting pediment. Ground and first floor have 6/6 sashes,
second floor has 3/3 sashes, all with sills, in plain reveals
and with flat rusticated arches with central keystones. Hipped
roof, end and ridge stacks. Left facade has two ground floor
canted bay windows with 6/6 sashes between 2/2 sides with
pilasters, otherwise fenestration as front facade. Above door
a decorative lamp bracket that curves outwards.
