Houses, now shops with flats and storage over. Numbered right
to left, described left to right. c1820-1830 with later
additions and alterations including mid-late C20 shop fronts.
Reddish-brown brick stacks, with painted brick front facade to
left and painted stucco to two to right, Welsh slate roofs.
EXTERIOR; 3 storeys, 7 first-floor windows arranged 3:2:2;
dwelling to left is lower.
First floor: five 8/8 sashes, two 6/6 sashes all in plain
reveals and with sills, 3 to left have flat channelled arches
and raised keystones.
Second floor: three 4/8 sashes, two 8/8 sashes and two
casement windows, all in plain reveals and with sills, the 3
to left have flat channelled arches and raised keystones, then
2 with moulded architraves with ears and shoulders. Ground
floor: glazed doors in glazed shop fronts. Frieze to centre.
2 houses to right have tall end stacks with cornices.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: Regent Street, originally known as Cross
Street, was laid out c1808-1814.
