GV II

House, now public house. Forms the end of a longer terrace.
c1830 with later additions and alterations including early-mid
C20 ground floor. Pinkish-brown brick with painted stucco
facades and Welsh slate roof, hipped to left.
3 storeys, 2 first-floor windows. First floor: 6/6 sashes;
second floor: 3/6 sashes, all in plain reveals and with sills.
Ground floor: quoins surmounted by continuous frieze and
cornice. Entrance to left return a 3-panel door with
overlight, otherwise casement windows. All windows have flat
arches and raised keystones. Blocking course. Rear and ridge
stacks.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Occupies a corner site. Forms an architectural group with Nos
159 & 161 (qv).
