Farmhouse. C17 with later additions and alterations including
C19 barn to right and rear wing to left. Small, square panels
of timber-framing with C19 brick nogging, plain-tile roof and
brick stacks. 3-unit plan extended to U-plan by addition of
C19 rear wing in brick.
EXTERIOR: front range of single storey plus attic; 2-window
range with single-storey attached range to right. Elevation to
road: plank door in attached building to right under
chamfered, elliptical arch. 3 windows to left, renewed 2- and
3-light casements with lead cames. Gabled roof with 2
half-dormers with casement windows, bargeboards and finials.
Main entrance to left return with a part-glazed plank door in
gabled porch with barley-twist balusters.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
