GV II

Stables. c1700 with later alterations. Timber-framed with
reddish-brown brick, mainly painted and rendered, with
corrugated asbestos roof. L-shaped on plan.
EXTERIOR: 2:7 bays. 3 exposed padstones surmounted by studs
with arched braces. Stable openings are split plank doors,
with adjacent 3/3 sashes.
INTERIOR: has complete range of tie-beam trusses with queen
struts and clasped principals.
The stables form a group with Manor Farmhouse (qv), Barn Range
(qv) and Cart shed with Stable and Hayloft (qv) and are
included for group value.
