Pair of houses. c1820. Brick; slate roof with brick end
stacks. Plan symmetrical round through passage.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; symmetrical 2-window range. Top cogged
brick frieze. Steps to central round-headed entry with plank
tympanum and studded plank door; flanking entrances have
doorcases with friezes and bracketed hoods to 4-flush-panel
doors.
Windows to ground and 1st floors have rubbed brick cambered
arches to 3-light small-paned casements, with iron opening
casements to 1st floor; 2nd floor has square segmental-headed
windows with similar 2-light casements. Small light to left
return.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
A good example of early C19 housing.
