GV II

House. Early C19. Brick laid to Flemish bond; steeply pitched
renewed tile roof with projecting brick end stack. Single-unit
plan with full-width rear wing.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; single-window range. Top brick cornice
with wide dentils. Entrance to right has doorcase with slender
reeded pilasters and lintel, and bracketed canopy to
6-fielded-panel door. Ground floor has window to left with
sill, and rubbed brick flat arch over 8/8 sash; similar
first-floor window under timber lintel.
Pebbledashed right return. 3-window rear range with dentilled
brick cornice; entrance under hipped canopy and early C20
canted bay window under hipped roof; segmental-headed window
with 2-light small-paned casement with iron opening casement
to right end; similar window to left end of first floor, which
has 2 larger windows with small-paned casements; large brick
cross-axial stack.
Single-storey wing to end has 2-storey end cross-wing.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: front garden wall attached to right has
terracotta coping.
