Formerly known as: Pigeon House Hillborough.
Dovecote. Probably C17 or earlier. Narrow coursed blue lias
rubble with some wide courses; conical tile roof. Circular
plan, 7.5m in diameter.
EXTERIOR: low entrance to north has heavy frame to C20
wide-boarded door; lantern has conical roof with weather-vane.
INTERIOR: walls lined with stone nesting boxes and ledges;
central inserted brick pier; noted as having 900 nesting boxes
and 1m thick walls.
