Farmhouse. c1820 (shown on 1831 O.S. map). Coursed dressed
stone; hipped renewed tile roof with brick cross-axial stack.
L-plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 2-window range. Segmental-headed windows
to each floor have 3-light small-paned casements with iron
opening casements.
Left return has similar 2-light casement over entrance.
Right return has similar windows with 3-light casements to
ground floor, one renewed and 2-light casements to first
floor.
Rear has gabled wing with end stack and similar details;
Phoenix fire mark.
INTERIOR: not inspected. Reported as having fireplace with
bressummer reputed to be made from the gallows post which
stood nearby.
