GV II

House. Late C18 or early C19, of 2 builds, with later
alterations. Brick laid to Flemish bond with steeply pitched
tile roof with brick stack to rear of ridge to left end, and
end stack. 3-unit plan; unit to left of different build.
EXTERIOR: single-storey plus attic; 3-window range. Unit to
left with rubble plinth and exposed wall plate, remainder of
elevation top modillioned brick cornice. Entrance in C20 porch
to right of centre has 4-fielded-panel outer door. Ground
floor has segmental-headed windows, that to left with 3-light
pegged casements with leaded glazing and iron opening
casement, that to centre is large and has small-paned glazing,
that to right has 2-light leaded casement. Attic has 3 gabled
dormers with 2-light leaded casements.
Right return has projecting stack; rear outshut.
Left return adjoins Baskerville Cottage (qv).
INTERIOR: not inspected.
