Farmhouse. C16. Painted timber frame with painted brick and
rendered infill panels. Plain-tile roof. Restored brick stacks
with diagonally-set shafts at ridge. 3 framed-bay range with
additional baffle-entrance bay to centre right, C20 lean-to to
rear.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and single-storey and attic. West front
with square framing 3 panels high with straight tension brace
to left. Irregular fenestration of C20 wooden casements. Porch
wing with timber-framed first floor with plain chamfered
bressumer projects to right with plain gable, and has 2-light
casement over old oak door with strap hinges. 2 gabled
dormers.
South gable end: restored square framing at first-floor level
with 3 restored 2-light casements, ground floor underbuilt
with rendered masonry and with 3-light casement. Gable truss
of tie beam, vertical struts and collar, with 2-light
casement. C20 lean-to addition to right.
North gable end: gable truss with cambered tie beam, twin
vertical struts framing 3-light casement, collar with twin
raking struts over.
Ground floor covered by C20 lean-to extension.
Rear: square framing 3 panels high with 3 straight tension
braces and partly underbuilt to right with brick painted to
imitate timber framing. 3 C20 casements and 3 flat-roofed
dormers.
Left bay covered by C20 lean-to extension. C20 additions at
rear.
