Formerly known as: Court Farm House.
House. Late C18. Brick on ashlar plinth, hipped slate roof.
Brick ridge chimneys. Double-pile plan with large C20
extension wing to left (south-east).
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic. Front is 5-window range of 6/6
sashes with painted lintels with keystones and stone sills.
Entrance portico with 2 pairs of Tuscan columns and pilasters,
and plain entablature with parapet. Portico enclosed with
double glazed doors, side lights and top lights. Left return
side: part covered by C20 extension. 2-window range of 6/6
sashes at exposed side to rear. Right return side: 3-window
range of 6/6 sashes as front with left window replaced with
C19 projecting 2-storey square bay window with parapet and
cornice fitted with large 3-mullion and transom windows. Sash
to right at first floor is a glazed blind window. All windows
with mechanical roller blinds.
Rear: 4-window range of 6/6 sashes as before with left window
replaced with C19 projecting bay window similar to return.
Ground-floor window replaced by French windows and covered by
C19 part-glazed veranda. All windows with mechanical roller
blinds. 2 slate-roofed pedimented dormers with 3/3 sashes.
Early C20 wing to left is 2-storey, of brick and with hipped
roofed with 6/6 sashes to front.
