3 houses now one house. C17 and C18 with C20 rear extension. 2
timber-framed bays on stone rubble plinth, and stone rubble
extension to left. Thatched roof. Projecting stone gable-end
stack with adjoining bread oven outshut and brick upper shaft,
brick ridge chimney and projecting eaves chimney to rear.
Parallel extension to rear.
EXTERIOR: single-storey and attic, 3-window range. Framed part
with tall rectangular panels with girding beam and sill plate.
C20 2-light casement to right with blocked door to extreme
right, restored 3-light casement to centre, 2-light casement
with brick segmental arch to left, all with lattice-leaded
lights. Front entrance doorway to left: C20 door with
projecting C20 tiled gabled open porch. 3 thatched dormers
with casements offset to right. Left return side: C20 attic
2-light casement. Rear: C20 casement to right with timber
lintel. Framed bays covered by C20 rendered tile-roofed
lean-to extension. Right return side: square framing with
jowled posts, straight braces, C20 plinth. Gable-end truss
with cambered tie beam, vertical struts, collar, and twin
raking struts. C20 casements.
INTERIOR: chamfered bridging beam with ogee-chamfer stops to
right. Single trenched purlin roof. Central bay with rafters
and purlins of unwrought spars. Internal truss frame with
square framing with straight brace, jowled post, cambered tie
beam, vertical struts and collar.
