GV II

Chest tomb and surrounding railings. Mid C19. Commemorates
Caroline Walker, daughter of Charles Walker of Ashford Court,
d.1847. Sandstone ashlar with cast-iron railings. Pyramid lid
on moulded lip. Plain inscribed panels with remnants of white
paint and black letters. Fluted corner sections. Plain plinth.
Railings with square-section main corner and mid standards
with spear-head finials with double barbs. Mid standards with
ogee braces. Square-section balusters with single barb. Plain
top and bottom rail. Plain ashlar plinth.
