Hacker Gill Farmhouse

Stable range, now store. Probably C19. Coursed sandstone
rubble with quoins, slate roof. Rectangular plan on east-west
axis, facing south. Two low storeys; with a square 16-pane
window and a square loading doorway in the centre, a pair of
square doorways to the left, a similar doorway and a similar
window to the right; a doorway and altered square window in
the west gable wall, and steps up the east gable wall to a
loft doorway. Forms part of a significant rural group with
Hacker Gill Farmhouse (qv).
