House. Probably later C18, remodelled in C19; altered. Red
brick in Flemish bond with sandstone dressings; slate roof.
Double-depth single-fronted plan. 2 storeys and one window;
doorway to left (abutting junction with No.704), with plain
overlight and plain rectangular lintel; one large rectangular
window on each floor, both with plain rectangular lintels and
C20 9-pane glazing similar to that of No.704; some vertical
joints and part of a segmental window head in the brickwork
suggesting earlier windows. Right-hand gable wall has faded
painted lettering including the words "Ales" and "Hotel".
INTERIOR not inspected. Forms group with No.704 adjoining to
left (qv).
