Detached Italianate villa. c1838. Stucco with low-pitched
hipped slate roof with projecting, bracketed eaves to main
section.
2 storeys and basement, 4 bays, 3 of these being large
full-height canted bay to right. Slightly recessed entrance
bay to left; Doric porch with entablature supporting balcony
with cast-iron railing to 1st-floor French windows. Plain
reveals to windows with cast-iron guards and bracketed sills,
those to ground-floor casements with round, architraved heads
and springing band, those to 1st floor square-headed sash
windows with glazing bars. Moulded 1st-floor sill band.
