Large warehouse. Early C19. Plymouth limestone rubble with
segmental brick arches over the openings; tarred slate roof,
hipped to left-hand corner. Large roughly L-shaped plan with
front following the curve of the street.
3 storeys; 8-window range to street front with small
widely-spaced windows. Old 2-light casement windows, some of
those to ground floor with iron bars; 5 doorways, now blocked.
Left-hand return is a 1-window range with doorway and former
loading doorways on the right, the ground-floor doorway later
partly blocked and converted to window.
INTERIOR: includes timber beamed floors and brick-vaulted
floors supported on cast-iron columns.
This is one of the least altered warehouses in Plymouth.
