Warehouse. Early C19. Stone rubble with dressed or selected
stone quoins and segmental rubble (ground floor) or brick
arches over the openings; dry slate roof with hipped front
end; brick stack right of front. Rectangular plan, end on to
the street.
3 storeys with ground floor as basement at the front which has
central loading doorways to 1st and 2nd floors and old boarded
doors. Left-hand return is a 4-window range plus a doorway
with boarded door to each floor on the left; iron bars to
ground-floor windows, all windows with vertical glazing bars.
INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to retain its original
floors and roof structures.
New Street contains a high proportion of fine C17 and C18
houses and some fine warehouses.
