Planned terrace of houses. Mid C19. Stucco with stucco detail;
dry slate or asbestos slate roofs behind parapet with moulded
cornice; stuccoed end stacks. Double-depth plan, the terrace
arranged in mirror-image pairs, each pair with paired central
entrances and each house with 1 room at the front.
3 storeys; each house a 2-window range. Hornless sashes with
glazing bars where original and panelled doors where original,
all doorways with overlights. Stucco detail includes:
rustication to segmental-arched ground-floor window openings;
pilastered doorways with moulded entablature; moulded sill
strings and moulded eared architrave to upper floors, those to
1st floor with pulvinated friezes and hoods above.
INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to be of interest.
One of a good group of terraces, shown on the 1867 map.
