2 shops. Probably late C18. Brick with quoin strip on the left
and dressed Plymouth limestone quoins on the right; steep
slate roof behind plain parapet, hipped on the right; tall
brick end stack on the left and lateral stack at rear right.
Very shallow-depth plan.
4 storeys; 3-window range. Original or early C19 12-pane
hornless sashes and later paired 4-pane sashes to centre.
Mid-floor and parapet painted panels with lettering: "SOUTH
WESTERN RECEIVING OFFICE FOR GOODS AND PARCELS TO ALL PARTS".
Ground floor has full-width moulded entablature with consoles
over 2 pilastered early C19 double shopfronts, the left-hand
shopfront complete but with windows blocked, the other
shopfront with small panes and with another similar window to
right-hand return.
INTERIOR: not inspected but may be of interest.
