The wool barn at rear of Nos 28 and
30)

GV II

Former wool barn now 3 flats. Early C19 converted c1978. Red
brick with some blue brick, mostly in English Garden Wall
bond. Hipped plain tile roof with brick dentilled eaves.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys. N elevation: a blocked loading door and 4
segmental-arched windows to each floor, with a 5th window to
ground floor. Windows have C20 casements and vary in width and
depth. The former loading doors, on left, have timber lintels.
Returns have segmental-arched remodelled or inserted windows.
C20 lean-to porch with entrance door added to east return.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Included for group value and survival within town centre.
