GV II

Bank. Dated 1876. Ashlar. Roof concealed, stone corniced
stacks to left and right on line of flanking pilasters.
3 storeys, 4 bays. Italianate. Bays divided on each floor by
Doric rusticated pilasters with wider flanking pilasters, tall
ground floor. On left 2 stone steps approach 2-leaf 4 panelled
door, transom and fanlight. To right 3 tall round-headed
windows, each set under round arch with panelled spandrels and
diamond faceted keystones, panelled stone apron, frieze and
cornice. Sillband at first floor, 4 first floor sashes each
set within moulded architrave with console keystones, dentil
cornice. Sillband at second floor broken over pilasters. 4
second floor sashes each set in plain architrave with
keystone, frieze and cornice. Panelled main frieze and dentil
and modillion projecting moulded eaves.
