Greenhouse. c1907 for Major HR French. Brick, cast-iron,
wrought-iron, timber and glass. L-plan.
EXTERIOR: single storey, 7 bays. Brick plinth about 0.5m high
supports timber-framed; gabled porch in fourth bay has
half-glazed doors under radiating glazing bars in gable.
Half-glazed door in sixth bay under slightly raised roof
section. Full length ventilators below ridge; side glazing
top-hinged.
INTERIOR: shows quatrefoil cast-iron supports to staging
except for bay which has brick retaining walls for side beds.
Ratchet mechanism operates ventilator control system for
ridge.
