Terraced house and attached area railings. c1810-1820, with
later additions and alterations. Stucco over brick with
mansard slate roof and iron balcony.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys on basement and with attics, 3 first-floor
windows. Stucco detailing includes ground-floor rustication,
drawn into voussoirs over door, first- and second-floor bands;
crowning frieze and cornice. 6/6 sashes throughout, taller to
first floor, all in plain reveals and with sills. Entrance to
left, 4-panel door (Greek key moulding to lower panels) with
sidelights and fanlight. Basement has 6/6 sashes; roof dormers
to attic have plate-glass windows.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: continuous first-floor balcony has sticks
and oval panels of scrolled ornament. Area railings and to
sides of steps have ornate strapwork panels.
Forms a stop to Nos 15-55 Rodney Road (qv).
