Aedicule. c1880-90, restored 1991. A square open-arched Gothic umbrella built in stone with sandstone shafts. Pierced cusping to arches, panelled cupola with crocketed ridges and finial. Originally surmounted by weather vane, the umbrella sheltered a drinking fountain, the whole structure being situated on Westall Green, Lansdown Road. Central column removed leaving pendant. Inscribed on step below 'Presented to the Borough of Cheltenham by the Misses W..... (illegible) A B Wall Sc.'.
