Pair of gate piers to Arundel Lodge
(No.37)

GV II

Pair of gate piers. c1833-50. Sandstone ashlar over brick, now
painted and stuccoed. Shaped plinth; shafts are square on plan
but with indents to angles, frieze, dentil cornice and shaped
caps. Approximately 2m high.
An integral part of a group of original piers (qqv) forming a
significant streetscape feature in The Park.
